The TNSDC, under its Naan Mudhalvan Competitive Exams Vertical, is conducting an entrance examination for “NAAN MUDHALVAN RESIDENTIAL COACHING FOR SSC cum RAILWAYS & BANKING 2025” on 31.05.2025 to shortlist 1,000 candidates who are natives of Tamil Nadu to provide free coaching, food, accommodation, and study materials. Two separate entrance exams one for SSC cum Railways and another one for Banking coaching programme will be conducted simultaneously on the same day and at the same time. Hence, candidates can apply either SSC cum Railways or Banking Coaching Programme and must choose their preferred coaching (SSC cum Railways or Banking) at the time of application. After submission of application, requests for changing of Entrance Test from SSC cum Railways to Banking or Banking to SSC cum Railways will not be considered. Also, request for changing of coaching programme after shortlisting will not be considered.

1.Assistant (Rajbhasha) -02 (UR-01 /OBC-01)

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be Indian nationals, OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals to apply for IAT 2025.

  • The candidates must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with science stream from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. Foreign Nationals need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IAT 2025 Application Form under "Please upload copy of document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You'll need to produce original when necessary)".

  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 01, 2000. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e, these candidates should have been born on or after October 01, 1995. Note that, there is no restriction based on the completion year of Class XII.

  • candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

    • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD are required to score a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to other categories are required to score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) examination.

Admission to IISERs

Admission to IISERs is exclusively through the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), which is a computer-based test scheduled on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM, at various centres across the country.

Performance Criteria in Class XII (or equivalent examination)

  • Candidates whose Class XII (or equivalent) examination results have not yet been declared can apply for IAT 2025. However, their admission will be subject to fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria given above.
  • For candidates who have appeared in the Class XII (or equivalent) examination multiple times (for whatever reasons), the best of the performances in terms of aggregate in a given year will be considered.
  • If a board gives aggregate marks considering both Class XI and Class XII, then only Class XII (or equivalent) examination marks will be considered. If a board gives aggregate marks considering the results of all three years of a 3-year diploma or courses of equivalent duration, then only the marks scored in the final year will be considered. Similarly, the marks scored in the final two semesters will be considered for boards that follow a semester system.

  • Compensatory time

the said Act are also eligible for one hour compensatory time on the production of “Disability and Having Difficulty in Writing" certificate (see Downloads section) duly issued by the competent authority.
If it is found at any stage that a candidate has availed of compensatory time, but is not eligible to do so, the candidate will be excluded from the process of evaluation, ranking and admission. If such a candidate has already been admitted to any IISER, the candidate's admission will be cancelled. The opinion of the medical board constituted by individual IISER shall be final.

OCI/PIO
OCI/PIO card holders can apply for IAT 2025, provided they satisfy other eligibility criteria. They shall be eligible to compete for the unreserved seats. The applicant needs to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India.


Foreign Nationals
Candidates who are not citizens of India AND do not hold OCI/PIO cards shall be considered as foreign nationals. Such candidates are eligible to appear for IAT 2025. The applicant need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) in India. The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) for 2025 will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 9 AM. The exam will be conducted at various centers across India. 


Application process
The application form for the IISER 2025 exam will be available from March 10, 2025. 
The application fee is Rs. 2,000 for candidates applying under General, EWS, OBC, and OBC-NCL categories. 
The application form correction window will be from April 21, 2025 to April 22, 2025. 
The admit card for the IISER 2025 exam will be available on May 15, 2025. 


Exam pattern 

The IISER 2025 exam will be a computer-based test.

The exam will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions spread over four sections.
The four sections are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
Each section will have 15 questions.
Candidates will be awarded 3 marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark on each incorrect answer.

Candidates are required to fill the Registration Form Online as per the instructions mentioned and upload the requisite documents at the time of Registration. 

A candidate has to make an online payment of Rs. 600/- (General/OBC (Non Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category) & Rs. 300/- (SC/ST/PWD Category) against the registration.

 Payments of application fee (Rs. 600/- or Rs. 300/-) can be made through credit cards/debit cards/internet banking. The bank and/or transaction charges on the application fee will be borne by the candidate.


A Paper Based Test (PBT) for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Programmes will be conducted on 11th May 2025 at 36 cities.




Important Dates to remember. 


Eligibility for admission to Bachelor Degree Programmes (B.Des. / BBA)

  • A candidate who has passed :-
    a) 10+2, in any stream, from any recognized Board; or
    b) any School or Board or University examination in India or in foreign country recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system; or
    c) School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects; or
    d) All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved three –years full time Diploma after Class X offered by Board of Technical Education of any state or Union territory;
  • A candidate who has appeared for any examination as mentioned above, and whose result has not been declared at the time of admission, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor’s Programmes and such candidate, if selected, shall be granted provisional admission and shall be required to submit the result of the requisite examination on or before the 30th day of September 2025 to the Admission In Charge where the admission has been granted, failing which the candidate’s admission may be cancelled and entire fee will be forfeited. Such candidates have to produce proof of having appeared for the examination during the Counseling process of FDDI programmes.
  • The age limit for the Bachelor’s programme shall be 25 years as on the 1st July 2025.

Eligibility for Admission to Master Degree programmes

  • A.) Master of Design (M.Des.) in Footwear Design & Production: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognized by law in India. However, the bridge programme compriseing of two to three relevant subjects may be offered with the existing M.Des. programme to the students who doesn’t have any design background to provide necessary design inputs in order to understand the design concepts.
  • B.) Master of Design (M.Des.) in Fashion Design: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognized by law in India.
  • C.) Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Retail & Fashion Merchandise :Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognized by law in India.
  • D.) A candidate who has appeared in any examination for any of the degree referred to under clause (A) & clause (B) and whose result has not been declared at the time of admission, shall be eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s Programmes and such candidate, if selected, shall be granted provisional admission and shall be required to submit the result of the requisite examination on or before the 30th day of September 2025 to the Admission In Charge where the admission has been granted, failing which the candidate’s admission may be cancelled and entire fee will be forfeited. NATA-(B.Arch) விண்ணப்பப் பதிவு பிப்ரவரி 1-ம் தேதி தொடங்குகிறது.

 


National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by COA since 2006, to qualify for the admission to Bachelor of Architecture. The Council has prescribed CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 1983 and in the year 2020 the Council has prescribed the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020, with the approval of the Central Government in terms of Sections 21 & 45 of the Architects Act, 1972. 

These Regulations prescribe that the candidate needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e., JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council for admission to the 

Architecture degree course.

The actual admissions shall be carried out only by the concerned competent authorities of the respective States / UT’s etc., Institutions based on valid NATA score and eligibility criteria prescribed by CoA and concerned authorities. 

Unlike any other entrance examination, NATA is an Aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s ability through a variety of testing formats.

NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e., Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past years.

With the objective of giving opportunities to a greater number of bright aspirants to join Architecture, Council will be conducting NATA-2024 for admission to B.Arch., in the academic year 2024 - 2025 on all weekends in two sessions starting from April to July, 2024.

DURATION OF THE COURSE:-

a) Pharm D: The duration of the course shall be six academic years( 5 years of study and one year of intership or residency)

b) Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate):- This is a postgraduate entry course to the 4thYear of the Pharm D. Course and the student should undergo the Pharm D. Post Baccalaureate programme for three academic years (fourth, fifth and Sixth Years of the Pharm D. Programme) (Two Years of academic study and one year of intership or residency)

6.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying Examination of the HigherSecondary Course conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other Equivalent Board in the following group of subjects with minimum eligible marks.

a) A pass in 10, +2 examination with physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

 Mathematics or Biology.

Note : Candidates who have completed D.Pharm Courses can apply for Pharm.D, however their admission will be considered based on their marks in the H.Sc exam and the duration for them in Pharm.D course will be six years.

Pharm D. (POST BACCALAUREATE) COURSE:-(GRADUATE ENTRY LEVEL) A pass in B.Pharm from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section12 of the Pharmacy Act.
