SCHEDULE AND TEST DESIGN :

The Entrance Test will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration. Questions will be multiple choices objective type of 10+2 standard. The Entrance Test shall have one paper consisting of four parts.

BITSAT 2025 registration Extended to 24/4/2025.

 

BITSAT 2025 registration: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has announced an extension in the registration deadline for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025. As per the updated schedule, eligible candidates can now submit their BITSAT 2025 application forms until April 24, 2025. The forms are available on the official website

Initially, the registration was set to close on April 18, 2025. The extension offers additional time for aspiring students seeking admission to integrated first-degree programmes in Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), and Master of Science (MSc) at the BITS campuses located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

Exam to be held in two sessions

The BITSAT 2025 will be conducted in two separate sessions. Session 1 will be held from May 26 to May 30, 2025, while Session 2 is scheduled from June 22 to June 26, 2025. Candidates have the option to appear for either one or both sessions. The opportunity to edit or revise submitted application forms will be available from April 29 to May 1, 2025.

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007. Their mandate is to train scientific manpower for carrying out cutting edge scientific research and for providing input to scientific programmes of Department of Atomic Energy and other applied science institutions in the country. NEST 2025 will be conducted in around 140 cities across India.

The candidates admitted to the programme in NISER, or CEBS, are eligible to receive an annual scholarship of ₹60,000 through the DISHA program of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. In addition, the scholarship recipients receive a grant of ₹20,000 per annum for the summer internship. Alumni of the programme are presently pursuing Ph.D. at reputed universities and institutes in India & abroad.

 Besides, top performers at NISER and CEBS, securing overall grades above a certain threshold at the end of the programme, are eligible to appear directly for the interview for admission to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) training school.

 NFAT is an entrance examination designed to assess the knowledge and aptitude of individuals seeking admission to forensic science programs offered by the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU).
