JEE Main 2026 application form correction window for Session 1 is open from December 1 to December 2, 2025. Candidates can make one-time corrections to specific details by logging in to the official website,

How to Make Corrections

  1. Visit the official NTA JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Log in using your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
  3. Click on the link for "Correction in Application Form JEE(Main)-2026 Session 1".
  4. Read all instructions carefully before proceeding.
  5. Edit the permissible fields in your application form.
  6. Pay any additional fee if applicable (e.g., for category changes, adding a paper, or changing to a foreign exam city).
  7. Submit the final corrected form and download/print the updated confirmation page for your records. 

Details That CAN Be Edited
Candidates can modify the following fields: 
  • Candidate's Name, Father's Name, or Mother's Name (only one can be changed).
  • Class 10th and Class 12th details (qualification, passing year, etc.).
  • State Code of Eligibility.
  • Examination city preferences and medium of exam.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Gender (additional fees may apply if the category/fee structure changes).
  • Category/Sub-category (PwD) and re-upload relevant certificates.
  • Signature.
  • Add a paper (e.g., add B.Arch/B.Planning; additional fee required).
  • Identity details (only for those who registered with a non-Aadhaar ID). 


Details That CANNOT Be Edited
The following details are locked and cannot be changed: 
  • Mobile Number
  • Email Address
  • Permanent and Present Address
  • Emergency Contact Details
  • Candidate's Photograph
Note: This is a one-time facility, and no further opportunities for correction will be given after the deadline of December 2, 2025 (11:50 PM). Ensure all details are correct before final submission.
