National Aptitude Test in Architecture

NATA is an aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s innate ability through a variety of testing formats and cannot be taught, learnt or induced. NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study.

BBA (TOURISM AND TRAVEL)

From 2016 onwards, IITTM is offering BBA (Tourism & Travel) program from its centers viz. Gwalior, Noida,Bhubaneswar,Nellore & Goa (as perthe MoU signed under the collaborative scheme of JNU– Ministry of Education,Govt. Of India). This program incorporates subject-specific and generic business modules and has been designed to reflect industry practices and academic developments. Moreover, this course has touched upon tourism as a business activity - the organization, dimensions, social significance and impact of tourism are studied. With entry profiles ranging from beginners to advanced levels, this program is designed to meet the present need of the tourism industry. The learners are supported at every stage of learning and career development. 



EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

The candidates who have passed 10 + 2 examinations in any subject from a recognized University / Board with a minimum of 50% marks for UR / OBC (45% for SC / ST / PWD) are eligible to apply for BBA (Tourism &Travel) program.

• If the seats reserved for SC/ST remain vacant then the same will be filled by the SC/ST candidates who appear for entrance exam irrespective of their ranking in the exam.

• Reservation for SC, ST, OBC (under Non-creamy layer) and Physically Challenged candidates will beapplicable as per Govt. of India rules i.e. 7.5% for ST, 15% for SC, 27% for OBC (under non- creamy layer) and 10% for EWS candidates. However, physically challenged candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. 



ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

1) Candidates seeking admission in BBA (TT) programme shall be required to possess 10 + 2 

examinations in any subject from a recognized University/Board with atleast 50% marks(45% marks for SC / ST).

Candidates appearing in final year examination of 10+ 2 are also eligible to apply, subject to they must submit their result of 12th class with the requisite percentage of marks by September 30, 2026,failing which their admission will be cancelled and the course fee deposited in the institute, will also be forfeited. (In this regard, the student must submit an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/-).

And

 2) Appear in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and submit a valid score card (2026). 

OR

Appear in the written test “IITTM Admission Test (IIAT)” to be conducted by IITTM. The admission Test (AT) will be held on June 7, 2026 (Sunday) (tentative) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm through online mode, the details of the online test will be notified later via IITTM website, email, and telecommunication.

It will be an objective type test with four options of nearest answers carrying 100 questions /100 marks [GeneralAwareness (50 Marks), Verbal ability (25 Marks) and Quantitative ability (25 marks)]. One mark for each right answer and no negative marking for wrong answer.

This three-year degree programme offers comprehensive instruction in the theory, methods and application of Statistics, in addition to several areas of Mathematics and some basic areas of Computer Science. It is so designed that, on successful completion, the students will be able to pursue higher studies in areas of Statistics and Mathematics, as well as Computer Science, Economics and allied fields, or take up careers as Statisticians in research institutions and scientific laboratories, government departments or industries. This three-year degree programme offers comprehensive instruction in basic Mathematics along with basic courses in Probability, Statistics, Computing and Physics. It is so designed that, on successful completion, the students will be able to pursue higher studies in the areas of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematical Physics, etc., or take up a career in applications of Mathematics. This programme is offered only at Bengaluru.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have successfully completed 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent) with Mathematics and English as subjects.

Bachelor of Statistical Data Science (Honours) [B SDS (Hons)]

This four-year Bachelor (Hons.) programme on Statistical Data Science focuses on statistical methodologies, with emphasis on statistical machine learning, computational statistics and data analytics. The focus will be on applications of statistics in industry and different branches of sciences, with knowledge and understanding of statistics and probability. On successful completion, students are expected to be placed in industry, finance and banking sectors and other Govt./Non-Govt. sectors. They will be also able to pursue higher studies.

There is an exit option after three years. Students leaving the program after successful completion of the third year will receive the Bachelor of Statistical Data Science degree, but without the Honours designation.

Students completing the four-year B SDS (Hons.) program can opt for an extra year of course work, and those successfully completing the five-year program will receive the Integrated Masters Degree in Statistical Data Science.

The program will be concurrently offered in three centres of the institute namely, Kolkata, Delhi, Bengaluru. The courses will be taught in the hybrid mode with the teacher being present in one of the centres and the other centres connected by video conferencing.

Eligibility: In order to be eligible for admission, a student must have successfully completed 10+2 years of Higher Secondary Education (or its equivalent)

  1. in 2025 or 2026,
  2. with (i) Mathematics / Applied Mathematics and (ii) English as subjects of study, and
  3. with at least 75% marks in aggregate (65% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates).

Aggregate percentage calculation:

  • Aggregate percentage to be calculated based on scores of Mathematics, English and three best scores of remaining subjects.
  • If a Board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the equivalent percentage of marks.
  • For boards that use semester systems or give weightage to both years, only class XII marks will be considered to calculate the aggregate percentage.
